About CU Service Centers (Shared Branches)

Print

CU Service Centers is a cooperative network of Credit Unions which have joined together to create shared service centers (credit union branches) across the country. By sharing facilities, credit unions can offer greater convenience for members to access their accounts at many locations just as if they were at their home credit union.

Provident Credit Union members can enter any shared branch and conduct a range of transaction services (with a real human), such as:

  • Make deposits and withdrawals
  • Make loan payments
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Purchase Money Orders, Travelers Checks, and Official Checks
  • Obtain cash advances
  • Check balances

To take advantage of this service, when you enter a shared branch you only need to bring:

  • Your home credit union's name (Provident Credit Union)
  • Your account number (Member Number and account suffix)
  • Photo identification
