Redwood Shores, CA – May 11, 2007: Provident Credit Union was recently recognized as one of the top 50 places to work in the Bay Area amongst mid-sized companies. This is the third consecutive year that Provident's employees rated their employer as one of the Greater Bay Area's best.
The accolade came from the San Francisco Business Times, East Bay Business Times, and the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal after employees of over 400 companies completed surveys seeking input on their place of employment. Only 1/4 of the companies surveyed were chosen as the Bay Area's best. Provident ranked 45 out of the top 50 Best Places to Work in the Bay Area within the mid-sized business category with 100 to 500 employees. Provident Credit Union was the only credit union to be awarded this honor.
