Mobile App 

Download Provident's Mobile Banking app to your smart phone and sign on with your online banking User ID and password.

iPhone® and Android™

Google Play location To get started, click on one of the store logos at right. Or search for "Provident Credit Union" on either the App Store or Google Play. For other devices, use the mobile Web.

With Both Apps You Can:

Mobile Web 

Use any mobile device's Web browser to sign on to providentcu.org with your online banking User ID and password. There are two versions that you can chose from when signing on from our home page:

Simple Mobile Banking

This is a streamlined version of our full site where you can pay bills, transfer funds, and view the balances and transactions of all your accounts.

Full Online Banking

This is all the content and functionality that you'd have from visiting our site from a desktop computer, adapted to the small touch screen of a mobile device.*

With one exception: Due to technological limitations, e-Deposit is not available on the mobile Web in either version.

Text Banking & Alerts 

Receive handy text alerts on your mobile phone about your accounts at Provident. To get started, visit "Alerts" within Provident online banking from your mobile phone, tablet, or desktop PC Web browser.

You can also get information about your accounts on demand. To get started, sign on to our mobile app, click on "Profile & Settings", then "Text Banking", and follow the instructions to register up to five phones. Note: This will already be done if you've previously set up a phone for receiving text alerts.

  • B [accnt] — Available balance
  • B ALL — Available balances for all accounts
  • H [accnt] — Five most recent transactions
  • M — Next Five transactions
  • NICK — Available accounts (nicknames) for text banking
  • HELP — Text Banking help information
  • STOP — De-activate Text Banking and Text Alerts

Note: [accnt] is the account mobile nickname that you set up in online banking. It can be omitted for the default account.
