ATM Deposits vs. Direct Deposit

Did you know that when you make a deposit at one of our ATMs, there is a minimum 48-hour hold placed on those funds? This procedure is in place to allow ample time to gather and verify the deposits. While this policy is necessary, we understand it can be inconvenient. The good news is that there is an alternative: Direct Deposit.

With Direct Deposit, you can sign up to have your paycheck automatically deposited into your Provident Credit Union account. There's no charge for this service, no holds placed on the funds, and no waiting. The money is available on the morning of your payday for you to access. The same goes for Social Security checks, other recurring federal payments, and pension checks. Not only will you save time, you'll never have to worry about your check being lost or stolen in the mail. Best of all, this service is absolutely free.

Eliminate the hassle and inconvenience of making deposits—let us take care of it for you with Direct Deposit. To take advantage of this convenient service, complete the Direct Deposit authorization form and return it to us.

Note: Some employers do not participate in this program or may require their employees to initiate a Direct Deposit and/or Payroll Deduction request directly with their payroll department. Check with your employer if you are unsure.
