Congratulations Katie Humann 2019 All-Star Teacher Winner

Provident has teamed with NBC Sports Bay Area for the past nine years to offer this recognition program for our deserving teachers. The All-Star Teacher Award recognizes middle and high school teachers in Northern and Central California for their extraordinary dedication to their students and significant presence within their communities.

Katie Humann of Adams Middle School in Brentwood, California is the winner of the 2019 All-Star Teacher Award. Ms. Humann has been awarded $20,000 for her school. In addition, each All-Star Teacher Award runner-up received $2,000 for their school.

This years finalists included Bill Schrier of Carmel High School (Carmel-by-the-Sea), Awele Makeba of Skyline High School (Oakland), Marquel Coats of Greenleaf TK-8 (Oakland), and Matt Tate of Sierra High School (Manteca).
