It is with pleasure I once again report significant and positive news about our progress here at Provident. Last quarter we implemented multiple activities we believe will bring continued and strengthened value to our members. These activities include additional service offerings, innovative advancements in our branches, expanded locations, and safeguards and protections to ensure the privacy and security of your accounts.
Enhanced Services and Branch Expansions
To enhance our services and as an added convenience for our East Bay members, we opened our 20th branch in Fremont in July. This branch makes it even easier for our members in the Tri-City area to transact business through traditional full-service teller stations, advanced digital technologies, self-service kiosks and tablets, easy access to rate information, and even member tutorials. The Fremont branch is conveniently located in the Fremont Hub area off Fremont Boulevard near Safeway.
We anticipate opening our 21st Bay Area branch in early 2020 to serve our members in the South San Jose area. I will keep you posted on our progress and the branch location in future updates.
Creating a More Member-Friendly Experience for Online Users
In our effort to provide a more user-friendly experience to members who access Provident's online services, we’ll be launching a new website later this month. Our revamped website will feature a brand new look, easier navigation, and overall enhanced user experience.
Our recent partnership with Credit Sense, a national credit monitoring service, will be part of our new website. This feature will give members free access to their FICO credit score, free credit monitoring, and even financial educational material.

Partnership with San Jose State
We are excited about our new partnership with San Jose State University. The Event Center at San Jose State University will be renamed to Provident Credit Union Event Center and the new signage and further plans are in progress. You’ll find more details and the press release here.

As many of you know, there is an increase in fraud with more sophisticated telephone and online scams and schemes. To protect our members, we continue to be vigilant about potential account fraud and scams by providing a safe and secure environment in which to complete financial transactions.
